It is one size fits most. The waist straps will fit up to a 48” waist and the thigh straps will fit up to 32” thigh. Not recommended for children and people with under a 20” waist. If the straps are too long use some scissors.

Walking down the stairs can be dangerous and so can any weighed exercise. Make sure that you can perform the exercise movement easily and without pain before you attempt to try that exercise with the HingeBag. Start with a small amount of weight and then add bb’s as needed. Be smart, stay aware, move slowly, and get stronger.

The HingeBag comes with 7.5 pounds of polished steel bb’s inserted into the bag you’ll get a total of 8 pounds on your hips.

We designed this bag to be as least crowding to your bits and parts as possible. If you practice Jiu Jitsu and you can’t handle the HingeBag pressure down there, then you probably shouldn’t be in this game. Yes, you may need a slight adjustment here and there while working out, but it’s surprisingly comfortable and easy to work with.

Only you and your doctor know best. If you are dealing with or have chronic low back issues, then don’t use the HingeBag. You are responsible for yourself, know your limits and act accordingly. If it’s your ego that is injured because you don’t want to wear a weighted fanny pack, then you should buy two.
